About the event
The Just Do It Puppet Slam is back for another exciting night of short puppet pieces from local puppeteers! The hour-long show will take place Saturday, April 26th at 7:00pm at the Abington Arts Center in conjunction with the GPAPG National Day of Puppetry. Submissions are now open for original puppet performances and the theme of the evening is "Good Luck"!
Acts should be between 3-10 minutes long.
At least part of the performance must include a puppet or object manipulation of some kind.
All types of puppetry are welcome, and you don't need to build your own puppet to participate, though we love to see new creations!
Content-wise, this is an evening show aimed at an adult audience. If selected, we'll ask you for a list of content warnings to provide audiences before the show.
