This is a virtual event that will be presented by our GPAPG President, Tom Tucker. All things related to construction techniques & tools used in puppetry will be discussed. The goal of the session is to increase your knowledge of puppet & scenery building.
Often being a puppeteer is like being a one-man-band. Puppeteers have to be proficient is every aspect of performing, building puppets, crafting sets for performances and so forth and so on. Tom will share the knowledge he has gained over 40 years as a professional puppeteer. He is the co-director of TUCKERS' TALES PUPPET THEATRE which was founded in 1981 and he has been a workshop presentor at national and regional events for decades. He has also served in leadership roles nationally & regionally. Get ready to learn!
