"Eeeko the Jellyfish" Workshop - IN-PERSON & FREE for MEMBERS

Eeeko! Your very own jellyfish puppet that you create out of items from your recycle bin! Help divert the trash and keep it from ending up in our landfills, or worse, in our oceans. All the jellyfish will thank you! If you are professional puppeteer this may be a workshop to offer in the future!

About the event

Please bring the following: 

  • Plastic take-out containers, preferably round but funky shapes work well too.
  • Bamboo skewers; think chopsticks
  • Plastic shopping bags; bring the ones with holes
  • Yarn and/or string; find that skein you've been meaning to use for a project!

We will supply:

  • Acrylic paint
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors/razors
  • Paint brushes
  • Gloves

This event will be held at a photography studio. The studio will be on the 2nd floor above, a business called No-Kill Car Shelter is on the first floor. (lol)  Street parking is available. Masking will be optional, but liability waivers will be required. Attendees who are 13-18 years of age will need a gaurdian to attend with them.
